Welcome to the New Dimension

MindE Abyss Vector

MindE Abyss Vector

ABYSS VECTOR is not a vintage replica and not just an atmospheric machine. The plugin was developed as a standalone dark synth for modern productions. The focus is on clearly playable sounds with character: bass, lead, pad, drone, pulse, and FX.

The presets showcase the full range of the current instrument. Bass patches utilize mono/legato, glide, drive, sub, and filter movement. Lead sounds rely on sync, FM, ring modulation, phaser, delay, and distortion. Pads and drones combine unison, chorus, reverb, slower envelopes, and dark tonality. The dark space layer is used sparingly to ensure it does not overshadow the actual synthesis.

Sound Engine

At the heart of ABYSS VECTOR are two digital oscillators with analog-inspired mobility and modern sound shaping. Both oscillators can be controlled separately in level, octave, fine-tuning, and pulse width or fold-bias. The advanced wave models create classic synth basses as well as metallic, formant-like, noisy, or broken sound sources.

Osc A and Osc B are complemented by sub, noise, FM, sync, and ring modulation. The mixer is intentionally part of the sound: saturation and pre-filter drive add weight and aggression to the sound before it runs into the morphing filter.

Character Layer

The character area replaces classic second and third layer concepts with targeted sound modeling. Sub, noise, FM, sync, ring mod, saturation, and drive form the core for grit, transients, body, and mechanical movement.

Dark Space Layer

Dark Space is no longer an old noise generator, but a standalone abyss atmosphere engine. It is designed for deep spaces, subtle movement, spectral shadows, drones, and dark tails. In the factory presets, it is used sparingly and in moderation to keep the actual synth sound clear.

Dark Engine Macros

The dark engine is the performance center of ABYSS VECTOR. It makes complex sound changes directly playable without driving the sound into uncontrolled loudness or chaotic destruction.

DARKNESS
Darkens the sound, shapes high cut, body, filter behavior, and abyssal tonality.

MENACE
Increases aggression, character grit, phaser share, filter tension, and drive behavior.

ABYSS
Deepens sub, delay, reverb, and dark spaciousness.

MOTION
Adds movement: LFO behavior, drift, stereo behavior, and FX motion respond musically.

AGE
Controls instability, tape-like aging, slop, dropouts, and organic deviations.
